Dear GeoMapApp user - 
 
We are pleased to announce a new release, version 1.6.6.  The new release 
can be obtained from: 
   http://www.geomapapp.org/
 
Click "Download Options", select your operating system, and click "AGREE" 
at the bottom of the page.  Alternatively, if you launch your existing 
version of GeoMapApp, you will be prompted to download the newest version.

Choose a Base Map Projection

   - Changed icon for GeoMapAppVG in "Choose a Base Map Projection" window

Main Toolbar

   Grid Options
      - In "Grid Options" window, replaced "Color Options" and "3D-View"
 icons with text "2-D" and "3-D", respectively
      - In "Grid Options" window, adjusted the formatting and layout of the
 Sun tool
      - In "Grid Options" window, Labels on x-axis changed to only show on
 every other tick-mark
      - Changed background grid names

Main Menu Bar

   File -> Import Grids
      - In "Grid Layer Dialog" window, replaced "Color Options" and
 "3D-View" icons with text "2-D" and "3-D", respectively
      - In "Grid Layer Dialog" window, adjusted the formatting and layout of
 the Sun tool
      - In "Grid Layer Dialog" window, Labels on x-axis changed to only show
 on every other tick-mark
      - Option added to import GEODAS GRD98 formatted (.g98) files
      - In "Get Projection & Bounds" window, options added for UTM
 projection to select appropriate hemisphere (could not previously do
 Southern hemisphere)
      - "Get Projection & Bounds" window rearranged for more efficient
 layout

   Available Data -> Select Data From Menu -> Custom Data Viewers ->
 Multi-Channel Reflection Profiles
      - Use alternate method to show position of cursor on map for Macs

   Available Data -> Select Data From Menu -> Custom Data Viewers -> 
 Single Channel Reflection Profiles
      - Use alternate method to show position of cursor on map for Macs

   Available Data -> Select Data From Menu -> Custom Data Viewers -> 
 Radar DEMO
      - Use alternate method to show position of cursor on map for Macs

   View -> Color Scale
      - The "Color Scale" tool now adjusts colors and labels based on the
 currently loaded grid.  Currently selected imported grid takes highest
 precedence, currently selected background grid is next, and last is the 
 base map
